Ohio's Abortion Consent law requires a face to face meeting with a physician at least 24 hours in advance of terminating the pregnancy.

Indiana's law requires require a face to face meeting with a health care professional at least 18 hours prior to termination.

Our staff love their jobs. They will provide you personalized care and attention in individual patient information sessions. A trained professional will thoroughly explain the abortion procedure, after care instructions and birth control methods. You may discuss your personal feelings as much or as little as you choose. We focus on meeting your medical and emotional needs.

During this visit you will complete a detailed medical history, review the consent forms and view an informational video about the procedure. We will perform an ultrasound examination to determine the length of your pregnancy as well as some basic laboratory tests. A physician or, in Indiana, a nurse practitioner will meet with you, answer all your questions and review the informed consent information.

For this visit plan to be at the Center between 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours. However, if you download your forms from the internet and complete them before the visit, the time can be shortened to about an hour.

Partial payment is due at the beginning of this visit.
